A Small Act of Kindness
Every now and then I leave a pair of handmade earrings somewhere for a stranger to find. They are tucked into a small organza bag with a note that says, "Whoever finds these, I made them for you." Creating A Necklace to Hold my Glasses
I had been getting frustrated with constantly changing my reading glasses, so I decided to create a necklace that could hold them when they weren't being used. My first design used a large clasp, which allowed the glasses to be attached easily. However, I soon realised I wanted a longer necklace that could simply be slipped over my head without needing to fasten and unfasten a clasp each time. Treasures From the Beach to Enhance my Photography
Walking along Bennetts Beach in Hawks Nest near Tea Gardens the other day, I came across a few treasures to use in my jewellery photography. Driftwood is one of my favourite backgrounds, along with shells and feathers I have collected over the years. The feathers didn't come from the beach though! When I'm beachcombing, my eye is often drawn to objects that I can visualise using in photographs.
